Not So Innocent At All
A young and up-and-coming lawyer with a promising career in politics just married a young woman who was raised in the convent. On their way to the airport for their flight to their honeymoon destination, they encountered heavy traffic. So the lawyer decided to take an alternate route which found them driving through the red-light district of the city. Seeing all those women dressed in the skimpiest attire standing on both sides of the road, the young bride asked her husband, “What are all those women doing just standing there?”
Chuckling at his wife’s innocence, the lawyer bluntly told her, “Honey, those are hookers who will have sex with any man willing to pay them fifty bucks.”
“Wow, fifty bucks!” exclaimed the young bride with wide-eyed amazement. “Why, those monks only gave me an apple …”
